TM200 is our MegaDeck HD+ composite matting system with MDX connections. Built for assessed heavy plant routes, utilities, energy and infrastructure projects, each machine-placed mat provides 7.85 m² of usable coverage in a connected layout. TrackMatz owns the stock and plans the matting, delivery, installation and recovery around your project.

Ground support, CBR, wheel or track loading, traffic, turning and layout determine suitability. TM200 is a product reference, not a vehicle-weight rating.

Supplier figures are product guidance, not universal site working limits. Low CBR, a concentrated footprint or repeated turning can make a much lighter vehicle unsuitable. TrackSpec and the project review qualify the complete route.

CONNECTION SYSTEM

The connection is a defining part of TM200. Overlapping flanges and MDX locking pins join adjoining MegaDeck HD+ mats into the planned layout. The pin, locking foot and T-bar operation are shown below.

THE MDX PIN

An aluminium-alloy core is protected by an engineered polymer casing. Visible locked and unlocked markings give the installation crew a reference when checking each connection.

HOW THE LOCK HOLDS

The pin passes through the overlapping flanges. Its large locking foot secures both adjoining mats, with pin holes machined into the mat so a separate cam mechanism is not required.

TWIST. LOCK. CHECK.

A T-bar tool twists the pin to lock it. The crew checks engagement, locked-state indication and mat alignment against the applicable installation guidance before the route is released for its agreed use.

The right kit for the configuration.

The proposal identifies the mat layout, required MDX pins, installation tools and agreed edge transitions. Connector positions and quantities follow the confirmed configuration. At approximately 465 kg per mat, mechanical placement requires suitable lifting equipment and a competent crew.

Connections are part of the complete matting system. Ground support, contact loads and the installed configuration still require assessment. Inspection, maintenance and recovery arrangements form part of the project plan.

Signature Systems publishes 600 psi pressure guidance for MegaDeck HD+, dependent on subsurface conditions. This is not a gross vehicle-weight or site working limit. Ground evidence, contact loads, traffic and configuration require project assessment.

Two vehicles with the same loaded weight can apply very different wheel or track pressures. Ground strength, support, axle loading, contact area, turning, traffic frequency and time in use all affect the assessment.

What is TM200?
TM200 is TrackMatz’s MegaDeck HD+ composite matting system with MDX connections. It is intended for demanding access routes and working areas, subject to project assessment. TrackMatz owns the stock.
Is TM200 rated for a 200-tonne vehicle?
TM200 is our product reference, not a gross vehicle-weight rating. The supplier publishes 600 psi pressure guidance, dependent on subsurface conditions. CBR, wheel or track loading, traffic and layout must be assessed before confirming suitability.
How much ground does one mat cover?
The published usable area is 7.85 m² in a connected layout, with an approximate usable module of 3.96 × 1.98 m. Overlapping flanges, orientation, route width, turns and edge details must be allowed for in the final quantity.
How much does a mat weigh?
The orange MegaDeck HD+ with MDX configuration is specified at 464.9 kg per mat, approximately 465 kg. It requires suitable mechanical handling and a planned installation method.
How do the mats connect?
MDX pins pass through the overlapping flanges and are operated with a T-bar tool. Locked/unlocked indicators support the connection checks. Pin arrangement and quantity are matched to the agreed layout and installation guidance.
Can I use it for crane outriggers?
It is not an automatic outrigger-pad approval. Crane reactions, footprint, ground evidence, load-spreading arrangement and lift plan must be assessed by the competent lifting and ground-engineering team.
Can it be used on soft or waterlogged ground?
Weak or wet ground needs assessment. CBR, formation, drainage, support, loading and traffic must be reviewed. Mats must not be assumed to bridge a void or make unsuitable ground safe.
Can the mats be layered or reversed?
The manufacturer describes reversible and stacked configurations with the MDX system. These require the applicable design and installation method; additional layers are not a substitute for reviewing the ground and loads.
How quickly can you deliver?
Availability and mobilisation are confirmed against the programme, quantity, delivery access, handling equipment and installation requirements. Send the site details and dates so we can plan a realistic delivery and installation slot.
