Heavy duty track mats for hire and temporary roadway hire for assessed heavy vehicle access, short-duration plant routes, compounds and programme work. We check the ground, load footprint, turning, traffic and duration, then propose, deliver and install the right system.

CONNECTION SYSTEM
Mechanically connected for the agreed layout.
Metal straps and M16 bolts connect adjacent panels. The layout, connector quantity and installation method are planned around the route and expected movement.
The strap bridges adjacent connection points and helps control relative movement across the planned layout.
M16 bolts secure the connector straps. The installation team tightens and checks the fixings as part of the agreed method.
LAYOUT-MATCHED KIT
The connector mix follows the design.
The proposal identifies the agreed mat and connector layout. Lost or damaged items are handled under the quoted hire terms.
Machine placement is required. TrackMatz can plan delivery, installation, inspection and uplift as one service.

What clients actually ask us about TM120 hire.
Can the TM120 take 50 tonne plant and above?
Supplier guidance references loads up to 60 tonnes and vehicles up to 100 tonnes. Those are product figures, not automatic site approval. We need the CBR, ground condition, wheel or track footprint, turning, traffic frequency, duration and route preparation. The complete conditions decide whether TM120, TM200 or a specialist system is required.
Are TM120 mats OK for crane outrigger pads?
Not as a default approval. Crane access and outrigger support bring concentrated loads and require an engineered review of the crane data, load-spreading arrangement and ground. TM200 or a specialist crane system may be required.
How quickly can you mobilise on UK mainland?
24-hour mobilisation can be offered on many UK mainland projects. Timing is subject to stock, route, quantity, site access and installation requirements. Out-of-hours and weekend mobilisation is available by arrangement.
What's the minimum hire?
Minimums depend on distance, quantity, duration and installation requirements. Send the site postcode, dates and area and we will confirm the most practical hire option.
How do I look after the mats over winter?
Use the agreed inspection and maintenance plan. Keep the route clean, inspect for movement, settlement or standing water, and report changes before continuing heavy traffic. Longer programmes should include planned ground preparation, geotextile where appropriate and an inspection frequency matched to the site.
Can I see them on a project before I commit?
Photos usually do. Send us shots of the ground and the access route, we'll spec the class from those in most cases. On-site survey is on request for larger or more complex projects, with a written spec pack. If TM120 isn't right, we'll tell you that. Saves you the call back later.
