Website terms of use.
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms govern use of the TrackMatz website. Website content and TrackSpec results are informative and indicative. They do not replace project evidence, a confirmed specification, a proposal or the separate terms agreed for a hire, sale or service.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Track Matz Limited, trading as TrackMatz. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15644756. Our registered office is The Glades, Festival Way, Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, United Kingdom, ST1 5SQ. Our VAT number is 483923068.
You can contact us at enquiries@trackmatz.co.uk, on 01785 290390, or through our contact page.
2. What these terms cover
These terms govern access to and use of this website, including its guides, product pages, forms and TrackSpec tool. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
These are website terms only. A project does not become binding merely because you use this website, receive a TrackSpec result, submit an enquiry or receive general guidance. Any supply, hire, sale, installation, collection or other service is governed by the proposal, order confirmation and separate contractual terms agreed for that project. If those documents conflict with these website terms, the project-specific documents take priority for the relevant supply or service.
3. Website information and availability
We take reasonable care to keep website information useful and current, but it is provided for general information and screening purposes. It may be incomplete, become outdated or contain an error. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice.
Product dimensions, weights, load guidance, availability, mobilisation times and other technical or commercial information remain subject to confirmation. Published supplier figures depend on ground conditions, configuration and the complete project circumstances. They are not automatic site permission or engineering approval.
4. TrackSpec and project suitability
TrackSpec combines the information entered by a user with mapped postcode-level context and current product rules to provide an indicative product class and quantity. Mapped context is not a measured site CBR, site investigation or temporary works design.
A TrackSpec result does not confirm that a route, layout, product or quantity is suitable for a particular project. Ground condition, CBR evidence, axle and wheel or track footprint, traffic, turning, duration, preparation, unsupported areas, concentrated loads and site controls can materially change suitability. TrackMatz reviews the available project information before issuing a proposal or confirming a specification.
5. Permitted use
You may browse this website and download or print reasonable extracts for your own internal business or personal use. You must not:
- copy, republish, sell, license or commercially exploit substantial website content without our written permission;
- misrepresent TrackMatz content, TrackSpec output or product guidance as your own work, engineering approval or guaranteed site permission;
- interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it at an unreasonable rate or circumvent security controls;
- use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes another person’s rights; or
- submit information that you do not have the right to provide.
6. Information you provide
You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted through the website is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have authority to provide it. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in forms, project descriptions or uploaded material.
Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in the Cookie Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The TrackMatz name and logo, TrackSpec, product naming, website design, copy, graphics, photographs, software and other content belong to Track Matz Limited, our licensors or their respective owners. All rights are reserved.
Third-party information and mapped-data sources used by TrackSpec remain the property of their respective owners. Our method page explains the principal sources and how mapped context is used.
8. Links to other websites
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience or attribution. We do not control those websites and a link does not mean we endorse every part of their content, security, availability or privacy practices. You use third-party websites subject to their own terms.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that qualification, TrackMatz is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information or an indicative TrackSpec result without project-specific review and confirmation. We are also not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, misuse of the website, inaccurate information supplied by a user, or a third-party website that we do not control.
Any liability connected with an agreed hire, sale or service is governed by the applicable project-specific contract rather than this website clause.
10. Website security
We use proportionate measures intended to keep the website available and secure, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure or uninterrupted. You are responsible for using appropriate device, browser and network security.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website, our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Updated terms apply to website use from publication and do not retrospectively alter a contract already agreed for a project.
12. Governing law
These terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from use of this website are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to an individual using the website outside a business context.
13. Contact
Questions about these website terms can be sent to enquiries@trackmatz.co.uk, raised by telephone on 01785 290390, or posted to our registered office.
