Track mats for hire across the UK. Access where there's none.

Track mats for temporary pedestrian, vehicle and plant access over soft, boggy or sensitive ground. Four duty classes, qualified against the ground, load, traffic, duration and layout.

Programme moving?
24-hour mobilisation available, UK mainland.

Subject to stock, route, quantity, site access and installation requirements. Tell us the programme and we will confirm the practical mobilisation plan.

THE PROJECT

The mat matters less than the match.

The right class depends on more than a vehicle-weight headline. Ground evidence, axle and wheel or track footprint, traffic frequency, turning, season, duration, preparation and layout all affect suitability.

That applies whether the project is an event walkway, temporary car park, construction route, solar farm or Tier 1 working area. TrackMatz reviews the requirement, recommends the proportionate class and makes the assumptions and exclusions clear.

Published supplier figures describe product capability under stated conditions; they are not automatic site permission. Use TrackSpec for an indicative starting point, then read the CBR guide and working load guidance, or send the project evidence for specialist project guidance.

For a defined vehicle route, see temporary roadway hire. Where protecting the surface is the main requirement, see ground protection mats hire. The delivery and installation guide explains the mobilisation questions that follow.

HOW THE PROJECT IS QUALIFIED

From project brief to off-hire. One documented plan.

TrackMatz leads the project review, layout, installation planning and off-hire coordination. External delivery vehicles may be used where appropriate; responsibilities and project controls are agreed before mobilisation.

01
Project Brief

Define the route or area, ground evidence, loads, traffic, turns, dates and operating constraints.

02
Qualify & Plan

Confirm the class, quantity, layout, assumptions, exclusions and any need for testing or engineering review.

03
Deliver & Install

Coordinate delivery, lifting, connections, sequence and site interfaces around the agreed project plan.

04
Support & Off-Hire

Agree longer-hire inspections or maintenance where required, then coordinate removal and return.

ONE RANGE · DIFFERENT PROJECT DEMANDS

From events and parking to major works. Support scaled to the project.

Event teams and smaller clients need a clear route to the right mat without technical theatre. Contractors, solar developers and Tier 1 buyers need the same clarity plus drawings, programme coordination, documented assumptions and escalation boundaries. Page 44 serves both.

Programme coordination

Delivery and installation planned around stock, route, quantity, site access and the agreed sequence.

Project-specific layouts

Routes, working areas, pedestrian interfaces and traffic direction prepared for project coordination.

TrackMatz-led installation

Site activity coordinated around the agreed equipment, sequence, responsibilities and controls.

Procurement information

Scope, assumptions, exclusions and available project documentation set out for proportionate review.

Long-hire support

Scheduled inspections or maintenance can be agreed for longer programmes and changing conditions.

Planned removal

Off-hire timing, removal sequence and site condition are reviewed against the agreed project plan.

Site layout planning

We plan the ground before the first truck arrives.

Most projects combine routes, working or parking areas and pedestrian interfaces. The four diagrams below are planning examples—not standard designs or automatic product assignments. Final dimensions, class and controls depend on the project evidence and operating plan.

FOR PROJECT TEAMS & PROCUREMENT

Easy to brief. Detailed enough to procure.

Send a simple ground photo and dates, or a full route drawing and project brief. TrackMatz will respond at the right level: a straightforward hire recommendation for a smaller job, or documented layouts, assumptions, programme interfaces and escalation requirements for a major project.

SEND THE PROJECT OVER

Tell us about the project. We’ll qualify the next step.

Send the ground, route or area, loads, traffic and dates. Photos and drawings help the initial review; testing, a survey or competent engineering input may still be needed for higher-risk conditions.

INDICATIVE STARTING POINT

Not sure which class fits? Start with TrackSpec™.

TrackSpec uses the project information you provide to suggest an indicative product class and quantity. It does not measure site CBR, provide temporary works design or replace project-specific investigation and human confirmation.
