THE PROJECT
The mat matters less than the match.
Site access mats fail two ways: the wrong class for the load, or the right class on ground that can't carry it. Both look fine on day one. Both end with plant on its belly and a programme in trouble.
We hire composite site access mats from pedestrian duty to the heaviest plant access, and we lead every hire with the ground. Tell us what's crossing, what it's crossing over, and when. We'll match the class to the project, honestly. If a lighter mat does it, that's what we'll quote. If your ground needs more than you thought, you'll hear that from us before it becomes your problem mid-hire.

Site layout planning
We plan the ground before the first truck arrives.
Every project runs on a few kinds of ground: the route in and out, the working and laydown areas, and the walkways in between. We survey the ground and draw the layout for all three: capacity, one-way flow, fire lanes kept clear, costed by protection level, so you know what is going down before the first truck arrives. Four worked examples below; every site is drawn to its own layout.

Straight runs from the gate: 85 m + 70 m + 55 m of TM120 with two overlapped joints. TM50 parking off the junction, TM10 walkways linking car park, work area and compound.

Separate in and out gates keep artics moving through the programme: no reversing, no passing on the mat. Three straight runs plus a service spur to the drop zone.
3 · Events & festivalsTM120 feeder · TM50 lanes · ~100 cars
TM120 feeder from the gate, three TM50 drive lanes at ~95 m, cars nose-in on the grass either side, one-way flow. Fire lane kept clear and marshalled. Mats under each car costed as an option.
