Temporary event access across beach sand.
A coastal event in Mablethorpe needed a practical temporary vehicle route across loose sand. TrackMatz supplied, installed and recovered 210 TM50 Isokon mats within the recorded event programme.

Beach sand creates a different event access problem from firm ground or an existing car park. Event vehicles still need a clear route, but loose sand can make movements inconsistent and complicate installation, servicing and the event break.
The route therefore needed to be installed around the planned movements and removed promptly when the event activity was complete.

TrackMatz delivered and installed 210 TM50 mats on 25 July. The photographs show panels being positioned across the beach using suitable handling plant, with the route continuing towards the event working area.

TM50 Isokon mats were selected to form the temporary event access route. The connected panels created a clear running surface across the sand for the assessed vehicle movements.
The product choice was tied to this project, its planned vehicles, the beach conditions and the short programme. It should not be read as a universal approval for every vehicle or every sandy site.

The route was uplifted on 26 July after the planned event use. All 210 mats returned present and correct. No cleaning and no damage were recorded.
